Job Vacancy - Office Junior

Office Junior

Arrow Financial Services UK Ltd is a rapidly expanding chartered financial planning company, based in the heart of Chester and providing services to both corporate and personal clients.

As part of a small, friendly team this role, which has been created through the progression of the previous incumbent to a more senior position, will provide administrative assistance to our financial advisors and business support function.

The successful applicant will need a flexible approach and will be prepared to handle a variety of tasks.  You will be confident and have a positive attitude to work.  You will need to be well-organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing, with excellent spelling and use of grammar.  You will have good keyboard skills with high accuracy levels, and a solid ability with all Microsoft Office programs.  The role will also involve the use of bespoke financial management systems, so you will need to display a confidence around IT in general.

You will report to the Office Manager, as part of a small administration team, and initially your duties will include word-processing, completing spreadsheets, collating information, data input and analysis, general telephone work, photocopying, scanning, and meeting/greeting clients.  However, there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business, and it is intended that the role will develop according to the skills and strengths of the post-holder.

Formal qualifications aren’t essential, although you need to be able to demonstrate a level of experience in the above areas.  This is a client facing role, and so good standards of personal presentation and a degree of social confidence are also essential.

Primarily we are looking for someone with the right attitude and attributes – someone who is versatile, self-motivated, a team player who is able to accept responsibility for the impact of their role on others.  We will need you to be methodical, quick to learn, willing and able to take initiative and someone who will ensure a high level of performance regardless of the task in hand.  The successful applicant will be someone who can demonstrate a positive attitude and a high level of attention to detail.

This is a full-time, permanent, position, working office hours Monday to Friday, although we are able to offer some flexibility as to how these hours are structured.  Starting salary will be in the region of £16,000.

The closing date for the receipt of applications is 31st May 2017
